Breaking News: Song out as Bacar and Arsenal agree Terms

I posted the last time that the Gunners should start saying their farewell to yet another of their star players.

Well it has been confirmed that the Arsenal side has reached an agreement with the Blaugrana side for a reported fee of  €19 million (£15m) for the Cameroon international.

Song established himself as a key member of Arsenal's midfield last season, and looks like being the second high-profile exit from north London this week, after the transfer of striker Robin van Persie to Manchester United was confirmed on Friday. Find statement released by Barca's official website.

A statement on the Spanish giant’s official website read: “FC Barcelona has agreed a deal with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Alex Song to the Camp Nou. The fee is 19 million euros
"The Cameroon international midfielder will sign for the next five seasons with a release clause of 80 million euros
"On Monday he’ll have a medical and then join the rest of the squad for the official team presentation at the Gamper.”

I just hope that Wenger knows what he is doing. Arsenal is gradually becoming a land of harvest for Star players.
