Sylvester
Stallone has been hit by a second tragedy in a matter of weeks, with
the death of his half-sister.
Still reeling from the premature d*ath of son Sage a month ago, Sly is
now also grieving for Toni-Ann Filiti, who succumbed to lung and liver
cancer.
The 48-year-old died on Sunday night at their mother Jackie Stallone's house, after opting to leave hospital and spend her final days at home. After being in the ICU she decided she wanted to die in the house so she could spend time with her family.
“He said he can’t take any more pain … He said he’ll always be there for
her son … What a terrible month – first Sage and now Toni. It’s hard.
This is really sad. Wish you the strength to bear the loss.
