Kano Pillars Yet to Receive Prize Money After emerging Champions

Nigeria Premier League champions Kano Pillars have demanded from the Nigeria Premier League Board when they will get their prize money for emerging the champions of the 2011/12 season.

The Kano side is not happy that nobody from the NPL said anything about how much they will get for their efforts this season.

"We really cannot understand why the Nigeria Premier League will just give us the trophy and medal and nobody from the board will say anything to us about the prize money.

"Nobody can tell me that there is no money to give to the winners of the League trophy. If at the end of the season there is nothing to show for the efforts of the club that wins the trophy, then there is nothing to play for. 
I recalled that the NPL was voted the best Premiere league side in Africa; so why this delay.... Just thinking out loud
