The Bible once owned by Elvis Presley was a Christmas gift given to him by his uncle in 1957. On Saturday, the Bible sold for $94,000 at an England auction. With handwritten notes by Elvis, the Bible was part of a large lot of memorabilia being auctioned off.
One of the entries written by Elvis read, “To judge a man by his weakest link or deed is like judging the power of the ocean by one wave.”Another one highlighted read, “What is a man advantaged if he gain the whole world and lose himself or be cast away.”
Elvis Presley referenced this Bible up until his death on August 16, 1977.
