There has been an explosion accompanied by sounds of gunshots. The explosion happened on Lagos Street in Maiduguri, Borno state north east Nigeria.
Previously, security operatives had launched an attack on the same Lagos Street about a week ago leading to the death of about 30 people which the (JTF) claimed were members of Boko Haram.
