The Gunners may yet again lose the services of one of their star players. The prolific goalscorer is likely to become a Red devil player before they kick off their premier league opener against Everton next Monday. Man United made a breakthrough in talks to sign Robin Van persie.
The clubs held talks on Tuesday night and the Old Trafford side are now set to make an improved bid as they look to reach an agreement with the Gunners, who want at least £20m for their star player.
The new offer is likely to be close to Arsenal’s asking price once add-ons are included as the two clubs attempt to reach an agreement and draw a conclusion to the summer saga.
This would be a good buy for Man United and a good business for the Gunners. Hope it does not affect Arsenal's striking position.
