Onitsha Rivers Ports Commissioned by Presdient Jonathan

The Onistha River Ports Complex was commissioned yesterday 30th August 2012 by His Excellency President Goodluck Jonathan.

The project is aimed at pushing more investment in the nation's waterway system in the area of Economic and commercial activities.

The President and other key government dignitaries was hosted by the Honourable Minister of Transport, Senator Idris A. Umar; Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi and the Managing Director/CEO of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Arc Ahmed Yar’Adua at the commissioning ceremony.
