Fabrice Muamba Takes an early Retirement from Football

The Bolton wanderer star has been forced to retire from football due to health related reasons.

The 23-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest after collapsing on the pitch during Bolton's FA Cup sixth-round match with Tottenham last season. Medics rushed onto the pitch to try and resuscitate the midfielder, who was later rushed to hospital.

Report revealed that Muamba has been hopeful of returning to active football but after traveling to Belgium to seek further medical advice from a leading cardiologist, the news he received was not what he had hope for.

He however remained thankful for all the love and support he has received during his turbulent times.

Best Wishes
