Ondo Election: Voters accreditation begins

                                Ondo-election

Accreditation of voters for Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State has begun amid tight security.
A good turnout of voters was observed while voting materials arrived at the various polling centres on time.

However, voting will not take place in two units in Ese Odo area because voters registration did not take place.
Security agents have also been posted across the state while there is a total restriction on movement.

The State Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Shuaibu Issa, was spotted directing civil defence officials to convey stranded INEC officials from Cathedral area of Akure to their polling units by 9.20a.m.

The three main candidates are Governor Olusegun Mimiko (Labour Party); Rotimi Akeredolu (Action Congress of Nigeria); and Olusola Oke (Peoples Democratic Party).
