BREAKING NEWS: Robbers Kill 18 In Zamfara Village


Armed robbers in the early hours of Tuesday reportedly killed about 18 residents of a village, Kubaro, in Dansadau emirate council of Zamfara state.

The area has been plagued by a notorious gang of robbers two have killed scores of residents over the last one year, usually in retaliation for attacks against them or arrests of their members.

The Zamfara state Commissioner of Police and other high level government officials are said to have departed for the community for an on the spot assessment.

This is an incredible series of tragedies on top of the lead poisoning crisis Zamfara already faces. I am deeply saddened.

@peggy u r rite it is very sad indeed. The point that people could still engage in such clandestine acts despite all the crisis that has plagued the state, goes to show how humans have lost their conscience.
